Stabilize Your Pitch!

In this video work on getting right on top of the high note and not scooping or sliding into it. Holding the jaw in place will encourage the tongue to shape the consonant without pulling the jaw along with it. Scoops and slides are an important part of artistry but singers need to be able to get directly on the notes as a part of their development.
